Dance Company

I have been so busy lately havn't posted in a long time but here is some pictures of mainly what I have been doing which is dancing haha I am just loving it and living it up and can't even wait to be graduating!!

So school is just starting back up again. Hopefully I haven't gone crazy by the end of the semester. I'm taking 14 credits at the college and also doing high school classes.. so I'm going to be very busy ha But I figure why not when its free! I'm excited to get those classes out of the way a done. I'm just doing my generals as of right now. I don't really know what I want to major in at the moment and I'm not in a big rush. This whole week I have been in and out of councilors offices figuring out my schedule. Its so tedious I sometimes wanted to pull out my hair. haha I am taking this art class that I am pretty excited about. We learn about all different types of artist, there life and what they thought and felt that was portrayed into there art work. We are going to draw and paint which I am so excited for. I though all we were going to learn is just history. But, my first big project is a presentation. We had to pick a piece of paper that had a occupation on it. I picked out a private investigator ha and then we picked a artist from a huge list of names. They were all ones I had never even heard of except for like two. I think there were Picasso and van gouge. I picked an artist named Elizabeth Lebrun. I am very interested to learn about her and her art work. My professor, Mrs. Bingham, says she is awesome and was an excellent choice. The assignment is with the occupation and the artist to somehow incorporate them together. For instance, I could bring "suspects" to class and interview them n something about this artist. I'm not quite sure how it will all work out but I am interested to see. I am also taking American Government at the college. It's at 7:30 in the morning.... Blah! I'm not used to waking up early anymore haha But, I can already tell from the two days of going to class that this class is going to be a challenge for me. I am not very familiar with the government and how it all runs. I took the same kind of class at the high school last semester and learned a little but, you know how high school is.. You could get away with murder! We are supposed to give a five minute oral presentation to the class every few weeks to the class about a major problem in the world that involves the government. hah its gonna definitely be a challenge. I admire my professor (Belmont) in so many ways. But mainly because he is so knowledgeable with the subject and you can tell he just loves to teach us what he knows. During the whole time he was speaking in class my eyes were on him. I was trying to grasp everything he was saying, which never usually happens. I'm usually drawing and doodling all over everything and look up occasionally. One thing that is really weird for me about this class is there is so many old people. haha Which this is also kind of a bad thing for me because they all know what there talking about aha well.. hopefully I'll learn to understand it all better soon. CIS is such a pain! It is a computer class that you have to do on your own time. It is so basic but is so time consuming. I am hoping to maybe test out of the class.. So we'll see next week when I try.. ha I'm still taking AP Stats at the high school because my teacher, Mr. Mcconnell wouldn't let me switch out because of a conflict with my dancing. I told him if I stayed I would have to be able to leave early from class everyday to go dance. He is totally fine with it so I guess I'm stuck in the class. ha I am taking Foods 2 at the high school because I need like a .25 credit of vocational that I recently found out about. It is quite fun though. I am usually am at the college and don't know anyone but this class I know people because I used to go to school with them when I did all my classes at the high school. So this is basically my play period. Last class we cooked a "mystery recipe", which was basically like a blueberry cobbler. I was SO good... ok enough about school... Dance just started back up again. I usually dance from about 1-6 most day. With an exception of Tuesdays and Thursdays were I go at four. I am so excited to learn new pieces and new choreography. It is my favorite part of the whole semester, other than performing. We lost a few members of the company this semester and got a few new ones which I am excited to get to know. I'm kind of a home body in a way... well actually I am haha If I'm not at school, work, or dancing then I'm usually at home lately. I am definitely enjoying it though, getting closer to my little brothers and my parents. As far as friends go, I usually hang out with Isaac, Chelsea, Tahna or Courtney. There are a few others.. Here are there I'll hang out with other people. Isaac is someone I have not to long ago stated hanging out with. He is definitely not like any other boy I've met. I learn something new from him every time we hang out. We share so much in common and hope we can always be good friends cause he is so fun. Anyways, that's enough I think for now at least.. wish me luck!

What I've Been Up To

New York

For a week in October me and my parents went with family on my dads side to New York. We did kind of a church history tour which was really cool. I saw were Joseph Smith lived and grew up, Sacred grove, Hill Camorah, were the priesthood was restored, the Palmirah temple, were the book of morman was published and many ther places. We even went into Canada and saw Niagra Falls... It was so awesome and I wanna go back cause it is so beautiful out there.

Our Birthdays

Me and Myles have very close birthdays... Both in October, his is on the 23rd and mine is on the 25th. So we always celebrate together. He turned 8 this year and im 17 now. haha yeah I know Im a baby but thats just how it is i guess... ha one more year! ;)

Family Pictures

Our family finally all found a time to get family pictures done. It was basically a miracle because we are all so busy. We had them taken down by the river by the farm. They turned out really good i thought. I think its so pretty with all of the color and pine valley mountain in the back.

Senior Ball

Ha this is me and my Senior Ball date (Erik Bylund). Hes quite the guy... haha We had so so much fun. People kept coming up to us and saying, "You and your date are hilarious!" We were just running aroound bein our crazy selfs. I really had a blast and I felt so pretty. Josie did my hair and it was freakin rad. It was up high and to one side with a peacock feather coming out of it. haha but we did kinda look like we were goin to a fineral in all of the black but whatev ha

Dixie State Fall Dance Company Concert

Well i've been dancing with these guys since school started and I have loved it so so much. It was just are final dance concert and it turned out so well.. Being at the college just about all day everyday rehearsing isn't the funnest but it definately worth it. The concert has all different styles of dancing, from ballet and point to hip hop. There is group peices, duets and even solos. It has so much variety that I love. All of the dances are choreographed by all different choreographers. So there is no one dance anything like another. Its over now and have been enjoying the break but i'll definately be really to start dancing again when school starts back up. I already miss them so much.. they become like your family :)

Christmas Tree Huntin

About a week after Thanksgiving the whole fam drove out to the Kaibab to get a Christmas tree. Except Tyler and Macy because Tyler was taking his EMT test. But just about everyone from my moms side of the family ended up going. It was seriously so so much fun... We haven't all been together like that in a very long time. ha me, laura and the nephews drove around in the rhino... haha with laura driving, it was quite some adventure hahaha

haha ok I haven't been very good at this lately.. and im sorry! haha im really going to try and be better this time... umm nothin really happening lately.. just studyin for finals, getting ready for school to get over and it snowed in st. george, which like never ever happens. that was kinda crazy... we made a snowman in the backyard. I've been playin with the boys lots and thats just about it. Oh yeah i need to update what has happened since I blogged last. Um, well it was my 17th birthday on the 25th of October. I know im still a baby... haha but i got the privilege to take the ACT on my birthday. Which is a four hour test that is soooo sucky... not to mention I got back the night before from New York the night before. ha ya... not good.. Then Thanksgiving was good.. Surprisingly I got to see my grandparents which like NEVER happens. So that was cool.. Tree hunting was fun also all of the aunts and uncles were there and it was a blast. The only people who weren't there was Macy and Tyler.. That sucked but ya.. They the Dance Company Concert went so well.. It was on the 5th and 6th of December. The only thing that sucked was the long long hours of rehearsals. I would be at the college somedays for like ten hours. By the end I was so tired... I can't wait to start back up next semester. It has been so so awesome.. I am having a blast. Now it is a week before christmas, oh how time flys... Moms got all three Christmas trees up.. I can proudly say I helped decorate. :) I went sledding the other day.. it was so so fun.. It was me, isaac, ammon and dan. By the end we were soaking.. haha it was freezing!! but it really was so so fun... Today I basically have just worked most of the day.. April and I went to Olive Garden for a lunch break and got to see Macy. It makes me sad cause I hardly ever see her anymore cause were usually so busy.. but im gonna try harder now that school is basically out for a little bit. haha i already know the break is gonna be over before I know it. Seeya

It's been awhile

Ha it's been forever since i've done anything on here. I've been so busy its rediculous. Just school, work and dancing like crazy... Every once in awhile i have a little time to hang out. But its rare... :) Something crazy i just did is I had Macy die my hair. So now my hair is basically black now. :) I love it! I will have to take a picture and put it on here. We did it about two nights ago in her little bathroom in her new house. It was way fun :) Sister time is always the best...
